One secret that changes everything in marketing
Here's the problem we all face in
network marketing.
Our small warm market doesn't want
anything to do with our business and our
cold market doesn't know or want
anything to do with us.
Pretty tough situation to find success
in wouldn't you say?
Well it's not something that can't be
overcome.
But let's take a closer look at it
first.
In order to overcome this issue we have
to do one of two things.
1. Grow our warm market until we find a
few people that we haven't hit over the
head with our less than successful
efforts and get them excited enough in
our new business to get started.
2. Somehow have our cold market get to
know us enough to want to do business
with us.
Well I'm going to share with you a
little secret that I've used that's
worked like gang busters to solve this
problem.
I'm going to show you how to turn your
cold market warm.
And the truth is, this little secret
principle to success has been under your
nose all along, you probably just didn't
know it.
So let me ask you a question . . .
What's the difference between your warm
market and your cold market?
Simple right?
Your warm market knows you and your cold
market doesn't.
Well to the next question . . .
Why does your warm market know you so
well?
The answer to this is very simple as
well . . .
You interact with your warm market all
the time.
For instance, you probably speak to your
family and friend at least on a weekly
basis and share ideas and stories about
what's going in their life and yours.
You interact a lot.
On the flipside,
Your cold market, you know, those red
hot leads you buy and call ...
You probably only interact with once.
You make a cold call or send out one
promo email for your business and you
wait to see how they react.
You wanna see whether they join your
business or give you a call or something
like that.
Well there's a problem with this.
They don't know you, so why would they
leap out of their seats to pick up the
phone to get in touch with you because
you sent them an email.
Now ...
If you sent your best friend an email
that said "Hey give me a call later
today" don't you think there would be a
pretty good chance that they would?
The reason is you have a relationship
with your friend where you don't with
your cold market.
So here's how to solve our little
marketing conundrum.
You have to turn your cold market warm
to get them to respond.
How do you do this?
The same way you do with your friends
and family.
Just stay in contact with them on a
regular and consistent basis.
Over time, many of those in your cold
market will become your closest friends
if you treat them like friends.
In your marketing efforts, if you want
to get the best results focus on staying
in contact with your cold market
consistently and over time you'll find
you have a world full of friends ready
to join you in your cause.

The simple fact about an Online Business
The first thing that I would like to say about the simple fact about an online business is something that a good friend of mine told me when I first started , and that was this. You need to get into the right frame of mind , what I mean is that if your looking for an overnight money maker , your not going to find it ! All that stuff about (you could make $10,000 by this time tammara ) it's just not true !
If you want to have your own company online from home , you need to work for it , plain and simple !! If you wanted to be a lawyer , what would you need to do? You would need to go to school for 5 years right ! If you wanted to drive a school bus , you would need to go for a drivers course first right ! Well owning your own business on line takes hard work !
You could do a site on martial arts . So your wondering what does that have to do with an online business right ? Well , go look it up on the net and tell me what you find under martial arts . You will find millions of sites on the net ! So what can you do about it ?
Well you could teach martial arts to millions of people that just cant wait to learn ! How do you do this , simple ! Start your own website about the methods that you have learned ! You could do videos that show the moves one at a time . Youtube will pay you to post your videos based on the amount of clicks that you get per day using adsense by google .
Go look at some videos about martial arts , see how many clicks that they get . The number in the right bottom corner of the videos tells you how many clicks that the video gets . Now times that number by $1.00 , witch is the average click threw rate .
Now , if you could do a video for each step that you have learned , how much money do you think that you could earn ? Alot right , so you see that owning your own business is very doable with about 2 to 3 hours of work per day .
Don't try to times 2 to 3 hours per day by how much you make an hour now , because it doesn't work like that . If you took a course each night for 3 hours to learn welding , you wouldn't say it's not worth it because your wasting 3 hours of wages , you would say that it's worth it because you are working those 3 hours a night to get a better job ! Well the same principal works here on line .

Why everything going on around you is so important for marketers.
There are so many things happening on the web around us , that many Internet marketers tend to miss out on a few powerful opportunities .
The reason for this is because many new marketers or some that have been here for awhile , do not realize the power of the "NEW". What I mean about the "NEW" is, the new changes , the new app's, the new tools . All these "NEW" change means great profits for an Internet marketer.
People are surfing the Internet for one thing , and I think that this one thing is the most powerful strategy to remember, and that is "INFORMATION"! That's right information , and I think many Internet marketers focus so hard on one specific thing that they lose out on so many income opportunities .
That's why everything going on around you is so important . If a new app just came out , people want to know about it . If one website is becoming very popular , people want to know about it . This would be the time to write about it , make a video on it , what ever it takes to place yourself out on the front line of the "NEW".

Direct Marketing ?
Today I was asked a question about marketing that I found interesting . The question was about multi level marketing and direct marketing .
Here is the question.....
Can you let me know what the difference is between Direct Marketing and Multi-Level-Marketing, and what constitutes a MLM ?
Keep in mind that I never met this person .......
I answered the question as simple as I could .
My answer was ...
Direct Marketing and Multi Level Marketing are one in the same .
MLM is Marketing as a whole . It represents all levels of marketing put together .
This person sends me a message as follows....
Good Try,but no Cigar.
Direct Marketing is not Multi-Level-Marketing.
From what an associate told me, MLM's market is consumable products, and Direct Marketing is not.
MLM's go on hype, Direct Marketing is on results.
Even though they both have an up line and a down line.
Giving the impression of a Multi-Level.
The deciding factor is product, or services.
MLM or DM.
At this point I thought to myself, it sounds like an interesting answer . But I felt that it was not a correct answer , so I responded back as follows.....
The problem that we have here is that you asked me , what is the "difference" between direct marketing and multi level marketing ? And the answer to, what is the "difference" between the two , is that they have the same function .
Direct marketing ...•marketing via a promotion delivered "directly" to the individual prospective customer.
MLM....•Multi-level marketing (MLM), (also called network marketing, "direct selling", referral marketing, is a term that describes a marketing structure used by some companies as part of their overall marketing strategy.
So if you look at the "difference" between the two , you will see that although they have different ranges of functionality , they are used for the exact same purpose.
I'm not sure what the point of the question was , but it sounds like a trick question to me !

The simple question "What do you do"? What does this one question mean to you , how does it make you feel ? What answer would you give and on what level of thought would you give your answer ?
In marketing , I'm asked this question all the time , so I want to address this simple question and the emotions that follow behind it . You see , if a stranger or friend asked you "what do you do" , as far as work or business is concerned , the average persons body runs threw a series of emotions with this question .
In some cases this question is threatening to some people . "Why" you ask , because one of the first emotions that a person feels when asked this question is fear. Fear of giving an uneducated answer and in turn this fear breeds a small level of anger. A person wants to give a sense of accomplishment in there answer . People want to sound important or highly educated in their response .
The fear or anger arises when this question "what do you do" is used to start a conversation with anyone ,friend or stranger. All to often this question is used as a method of finding out a persons educational background or experience. I feel that it has become "the" most threatening question that anyone could use for a conversational starter .
So the next time you meet someone new or even hook-up with an old friend , start your conversation with Hi, how are you , what have you been up too ? Get to know the person or catch up on old times before you get the urge to ask , so "what do you do" ?
